Applicable to: Commercial, Industrial, Residential

Focus on: For the installation of new Solar Thermal systems for the production of hot water displacing electrically heated hot water

Applicable Sectors: Commercial, Industrial, Residential

Focus on: Incentives for the installation of new grid-connected Solar Electric or Photovoltaic (PV) systems that are 7kW or less for residential, and 50 kW or less for commercial sites

NYSERDA – Industrial and Process Efficiency Program

Applicable Sectors: Data Centers, Manufacturing

Overview: Performance-based incentives for implementing cost-effective electric and natural gas efficiency and process improvements

Applicable to: Data Centers

Focus on: Funding for energy efficiency projects that reduce electric usage - building support systems, and IT equipment and strategies  - technical assistance

NYCEDC - Energy Cost Savings Program (ECSP)

Applicable to: Manufacturing and Commercial Businesses, excluding Retail and Hotels

Focus on: Reduce regulated energy costs up to 45 percent and regulated natural gas costs up to 35 percent - for businesses that (a) relocate to, (b) make improvements to property in, or (c) lease space in previously improved buildings in Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, or Staten Island, and Manhattan above 96th Street - apply - 120 days before moving

Focus on: Support the installation and operation of continuous duty fuel cell systems (small or large)

National Grid New York - Empire Zone Program

Applicable to: Empire Zone businesses (designated as fertile ground for demand-side management energy initiatives). 

Focus on: Up to $25,000 in grants for energy efficiency equipment (lighting controls, HVAC equipment, electronic speed controls and other systems) & building renovation and expansion projects requiring systems replacement for energy efficiency savings - customers must fund at least 25% of total project costs

ConEd - Multifamily Energy Efficiency Incentives Program

Program type: Utility rebate program

Applicable to: Residential buildings

Focus on: Financial incentives for approved equipment upgrades - central air conditioners, heat pumps, lighting, lighting controls/sensors, motor-ASDs/VSDs, motors, programmable thermostats, refrigerators

Applicable to: Con Edison commercial or industrial gas & electric customers

Focus on: Con Edison pays up to 50 percent of costs (capped at $67,000) for a technical feasibility study for potential electric and gas energy efficiency measures
